It is difficult to keep bread fresh for a long time especially when it is wet or, on the contrary, hot and dry.
How do I keep the bread of the day or even the day before fresh? Here are some tips that will help you.
1. The packaging
The bread remains very sensitive to the atmosphere, whether the weather is wet or too dry, so avoid leaving it in the open air.
To do this make sure to leave it in the paper bag given by the baker or wrap it in a cloth but not wet so that it does not lose its crispy, however avoid at all costs the films or plastic bags that will tend to make your bread moldy soft limit.
2. Do not slice the bread!
Say no when the baker offers you to slice your bread, why? Well, once sliced it will dry quickly.
A loaf of bread should be kept whole, but if you have cut too many slices, put them in a cloth for the evening and if they have dried too much then use them to make French toast grind it to make breadcrumbs.
Even hard bread can be recycled!
